The priority list for subclass 485 visas
Subclass 485 visas have been categorised and prioritised in the following manner:

| 1 | Applications with: i) a completed Australian Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at an Australian education institution in Australia. |
| 2< | Applications with: i) a nominated occupation from teh Critical Skills List |
| 3 | Applications with: i) a completed Australian Bachelor degree; AND ii) a completed Masters degreeat an Australian education institution in Australia. |
| 4 | Applications with: i) a completed Australian Bachelor degree; AND ii) a completed Australian Honours degree (at least upper second class level) at an Australian education institution in Australia |
| 5 | Applications with: i) a completed Australian Bachelor degree; OR ii) a completed Australian Masters degree at an Australian education institution in Australia |
| 6 | All other applications in the order they were received |
