There are a number of visa options that allow employers to support foreign nationals to travel to or remain in Australia to undertake work or other activities for a specified, temporary period of time. The visa options available will depend on a number of factors, including the purpose of the appointment, the nature of the activities to be undertaken, the skills and experience of the foreign national and the duration of the position.

The temporary visa options allow a foreign national to remain in Australia to undertake the specified work or other activity in Australia for a period of up to 4 years, depending on the visa subclass selected. Most employer-related temporary visa options require the employer to hold relevant sponsorship that will give rise to sponsorship obligations. Please follow this link for more information on Sponsor Obligations and Compliance.
